Ever feel as though you have lost your way, or feel overwhelmed by issues you don’t know how to handle? I offer individual and group counselling to help adults navigate through such times and learn skills that will help them to enjoy life again. I have been able to help many women and men with a variety of issues, most commonly in the following areas: · Anxiety (including panic attacks) · Depression · Life transitions · Anger and stress management · Grief and loss · Abuse or trauma · Relationship issues · Disordered eating · Self-esteem and body image concerns · Job loss or unemployment · Career counselling · Gender/sexual orientation · Family of origin issues I am a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia (CPBC #1791) with a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). I am currently Program Director and Core Faculty in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Vancouver, have a private practice office in North Vancouver, and am actively involved in a number of research projects at UBC and elsewhere. |
